Cimetidine therapy for warts in children

      We read with interest the article by Bauman et al. (J Am Acad Dermatol 1996;35:271-2) reporting a trial of cimetidine therapy for multiple viral warts in children. This study failed to show any advantage of cimetidine over conventional therapies for warts and was discontinued after only 13 patients had been treated.
